Paz Encina
Paz Encina is a filmmaker from Paraguay. She has studied film at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she graduated in cinematography. Her first feature, Hamaca paraguaya, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006, where it won the FIPRESCI award. In 2016 she made the documentary Ejercicios de memoria and in 2022 EAMI, which won the main award at the film festival in Rotterdam.
